Feeling Like I'm Ready To Play Again 

I enjoyed the bye week, but I am really itching to get back on the field and play. If I don't have any setbacks this week in practice, I will be back on the field on Sunday. I think I've handled this time well, taken care of my body. Injuries are part of the game. You know that when you've been around as long as I have been in the NFL.

The key for me is getting the balance back in my body. I had a hamstring that was strained, and then I overcompensated on the other side and that hamstring was strained. Now, after a lot of rehab, I think I'm fine. I'm ready to go.

I've always tried to keep running, even when I was unable to play, just to keep my cardiovascular level high. I don't think that is going to be fine when we play this week. I'll tell you, I can't wait to get out there and play again. I miss the game and the competition. I love the competition. That's why I play sports. That's why I am where I'm at. I love to win -- at everything. I am always working to win.

We've got a couple of young backs, Vernand Morency and Noah Herron, who I've tried to help along the way. They see the way I practice and how I work. They know I'm experienced and that I know how to succeed in the NFL. They pick my brain and I'm glad to happy to help them.

As far as I see the running back situation, I think we have some depth and talent here. I don't pay any attention to the media and what they say about me or about the team or our backs -- I haven't paid attention, I think, since I was in high school -- and I know that we have the ability to get a lot of things done, starting with this game in Miami.
